About Brent Strom
Brent Strom was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues on July 31, 1972, with the New York Mets. Since 1992, Strom has moved around a lot, serving as the pitching coach for the Tucson Toros, Houston Astros, and with the Kansas City Royals. He has also served as the minor league pitching coordinator in the Montreal
Expos/Washington Nationals organization. He also served as the St. Louis Cardinals minor league pitching instructor. He became the Houston Astros pitching coach before the 2014 season.
